Simplify Your Lifestyle Free Workshops
With Baby Boomers reaching senior status this year, an increasing number of mature adults want to learn more about downsizing their homes, the options available in independent and assisted living communities, and how to protect their retirement nest eggs. To help people in the Wichita area tackle these tasks, Larksfield Place is sponsoring a series of free workshops: Simplify Your Lifestyle.
The series includes:
“Brunch and Browse” Thursday, Feb. 10 10 a.m.
Come for a light brunch and discover what an active lifestyle community can offer.
“Out of Sorts” Saturday, Feb. 26 10 a.m.
Kirsten Awe, a professional organizer from Three Pea, will share practical secrets of successful downsizing.
“Protect Your Nest Egg” Saturday, March 26 10 a.m.
Liz Moeller, an investment advisor with Carey, Thomas, Hoover and Breault, will provide tips on how to protect your financial investments.
“Planning for a lifestyle change can be much easier with a little advice from the experts,” said Tammy Flaming, Larksfield Place marketing director. “While a move may be years away, the tips from these seminars on downsizing and taking care of investments can be useful to most people as soon as they get home.”
Space is limited, please call 316.858.3910 or email info@larksfieldplace.org to make a reservation. All seminars will take place on the Larksfield Place campus, 7373 E. 29th St. North in Wichita.
